Nussisin tota sun raporttia sen verta, että toi Romance of the Telescope on Dazzle Shipsilta eikä A&M:ltä. Liian vähän Dazzle Ships -biisejä näköjään keikalla. Ei mul muuta.
Niinpähä onkin, tarkotinkin "a&m:n aikasella" "sitä vanhaa aekaa" verrattuna ysäriin. Mut tarkennus kuitenkin 
Ja tuohan oli nimenomaan A&M+hitit -setti joten ei sitä Dazzlelta kovin monta ehtinyt odottaakaan.
Vieläki karmii selkäpiitä tuo jakkupukujen ja puulevien ginitonic-litkijöiden ehdottama tulevaisuuskuva. Sit joskus 25 vuoden päästä Radiopuhelimien keikalla nämä 
Ei mitään muttia, kaikki boikottiin saatana!!

The long-awaited reissue of Dazzle Ships is back on schedule with a planned Spring 2008 release date.
The re-release of OMD's 1983 album will be remastered and feature sleeve notes and additional tracks. Likely candidates for the bonus tracks include Swiss Radio International and an early version of Telegraph culled from the Architecture & Morality sessions at The Manor.

The remastered version of Dazzle Ships is scheduled for release on 3rd March 2008. As previously reported, the CD will feature bonus tracks along with sleeve notes and additional information along with new sleeve art which recreates the original 1983 vinyl sleeve.
Amongst the bonus tracks are a 1981 version of Telegraph (recorded during the Architecture And Morality sessions), the full-length version of 66 And Fading and Swiss Radio International which was dropped from the original album release.
"Dazzle Ships is a strange LP" recalls Andy McCluskey "because obviously it was possibly the lowest selling album that we ever released and yet I am inordinately proud of it. Maybe we did something that was commercial suicide, but we did that album for the right reasons. It has a painful beauty".

Enhän mä siis muuta väittänykkään, ku että ko. biisi oli Dazzlella eikä A&M:llä. B-puoli versiosta en kuitenkaan tiennyt, joten kiitos tiedosta.

Dazzlen remasteri bonukset toki kiinnostaa, mutta kyllä mä edelleen tyydyn tohon reikäkantiseen vinyyliin ns. definitiivisenä versiona, olkoonkin että Dazzle on ainoa levy joka mulla on sekä vinyylinä että cd:nä

Mahtava yhtye Merseysidestä! Jeh, Dazzle Shipsiä en vielä omista, mutta asia korjaantu kyllä heti kunhan jonkinlainen hyväkuntoinen vinyylipainos löytyy jostain.
Organisaatio ja A&M ovatkin saaneet täällä jo ansaitsemansa huomion, mahtavaa syntsa-/futupoppia kerrassaan. Tuo keskivaiheen popimpaan suuntaan mennyt tuotantokin toimii varsin mainiosti. Crush on ehkä yllättäen jopa hieman haastava levy, jotenkin vaikea päästä sisälle. Sen sijaan Junk Culture on silkkaa parhautta; "Tesla Girls", "Locomotion" ja varsinkin oma suosikkini "All Wrapped Up" tekevät levystä varsin hittihakuisen, mutta toisaalta mikäs siinä kun biisit toimivat mainiosti itsessään. Mutta Junk Culturea voisin suositella niille, jotka haluavat OMD:nsä vielä vähän enemmän popahtavampana. Toki toimii myös jos tykkää varhaisemmasta tuotannosta.

Parasta syntsapoppia heti Gary Numanin jälkeen ja epäilen, että kellään muulla olis yhtä tarttuvia synamelodiota, kun näillä jannuilla; Electricity, Enola Gay...

Regarding the album and record label we're looking at a deal with 100% which is a joint venture deal. It is just for UK. We are talking to an indie in US, and several license or distribution deals in Europe. I am delighted to report that the demos have been so well received in Germany that several labels are in a bidding war! We are still on target for early Sept. album release.
We will tour UK, Ireland and European continent from late October through November. We hope to travel further in 2011.
