Manka Boutique Pop Festival – inflammatory gigs at the seashore

The 6th international festival of independent pop-music Manka Boutique Pop Festival will be held on the 1-3rd of July 2011 at the Pirita beach and other spots. More than 20 artists from Estonia, Russia, Canada, Finland, Sweden, and Latvia will perform during the festival.  Manka Boutique Pop Festival is a part of the official program of  „Tallinn – the European Capital of Culture 2011”.

First two days of the festival will be held at the Pirita beach, Tallinn, the stage will be situated just opposite to the surfing club named Hawai Express. Performances will start at 17.00 o’clock (1.07) and at 14.00 o’clock (2.07). Free entrance. At the night the party will go on at the cinema “Sõprus” at the Tallinn old town. Entrance – 5 EUR.

On the 1st of July Narvas’ people will meet Manka Boutique Pop Festival artists at Ro-Ro club, where bands from Russia, Sansara and Chikiss will perform. On the 3rd of July the relaxed jazz stage will be organized at the cultural factory of Meleski (160 km away from Tallinn).

The selection of artists stretches from rock and electronica to surf, ska and indie pop.
