Due to popular demand, Pitkämies is organising the record fleamarket once more! Last time the whole place was packed and we were puffing for air so there are some improvements this time around.
More space for browsing! No more elbow work needed to get you to that good "browse the plastic box full of exciting lps" position
More music: there will be a band performing live in the afternoon, starting at two: namely Shitty Listener, an american/german band from Berlin who will play some cool weird folk, check this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x8s_jG0iPtI
Even more music: to keep things in a nice and relaxed atmosphere (we all know how worked up we can all get when seeing some rare indie record for dirt cheap in the boxes) dj Kasper Strömann will dj from his vast collection of fleamarket records.
More hype: that's cause we like creating a little buzz now and then!Bring your own records for sale or come and check out what embarrassing stuff some people have bought over the years.
So, in the words of Leonard Cohen: first we take Manhattan, then we take Berlin!
Oh and if you are thinking about going to Tavastia the same day for their record fleamarket, sure, i can understand you: but ask yourself: do you really want to pay 55 for some prog rock lp because Jukka Tolonen played a guitar solo on it? Didn't think so!
